HALCON Embedded 9.0.1 Documentation for DSP BIOS on Photonfocus SM2-D1024-80
- You can download the HALCON 9.0 release from the HALCON
Embedded download area. You must download the version
HALCON 9.0 for Photonfocus SM2-D1024-80.
- The Photonfocus SM2-D1024-80 version comes as a zip archive that
contains a readme file and the actual libraries, example
programs, and the documentation for installing HALCON
Embedded on the development PC.
- Note that HALCON Embedded for Photonfocus SM2-D1024-80 is
technically the same as HALCON Embedded for IMAGO VisionBox.
- Unzip the archive in the %HALCONROOT% directory of your
HALCON 9.0 installation and follow the details in the
HALCON Embedded for IMAGO VisionBox User's Manual.
- You need a license to run HALCON on the Photonfocus SM2-D1024-80
VisionCam. The license itself is stored in a file named
license.dat and resides
in the internal flash.
- You can obtain a HALCON 9.0 license from your local
HALCON Embedded distributor. The license is bound to the
serial number of the DSP module. You can find the serial number
of the DSP module using the Photonfocus framework: In the menu
Tools you have to select the entry Info. Then, in the Information
window you can find the serial number at DSP-Module-S/N.
The number starts with 'MOD1'.
